Children's Art Walk

Imagine a place where children proudly share their artwork, grandparents share memories, and families discover the stories of Clovis together.

That is our vision for the Children’s Art Walk—a proposed project from Alley Art the Clovis Way that would transform an overlooked alley beside Sierra Vista Elementary School into a welcoming place for art, learning, and connection.

Small Steps. Colorful Discoveries. A Walk Through Clovis History.

What Will You Discover?

Our proposed design brings together children’s artwork and illustrated displays exploring Clovis history, from its early railroads and agriculture to the people and traditions that shaped our community.

A train-inspired design would help tell those stories, with space to display changing collections of children’s art. Each visit could offer something new to enjoy.

Bringing Generations Together

We envision children creating alongside artists, seniors sharing local memories, and neighbors helping care for a place they can take pride in. The Art Walk would celebrate what Clovis was, what it is today, and what we can create together.

Where We Are Now

The Children’s Art Walk is in the planning stage. We have presented our vision to City staff and are working to understand the requirements and permissions needed to move forward. The pictures shown here illustrate our proposed design.

Help Bring the Vision to Life

We welcome artists, families, teachers, history enthusiasts, volunteers, and local businesses. Share a Clovis story, offer your skills, donate supplies, sponsor a display, or suggest an idea.

Together, we can give an ordinary alley an extraordinary purpose.
